Topic:        Trustworthiness: Part Two Coachability, Lessons Learned & Time Stewardship

    Date:          Friday, July 31, 2026

Location:    Virtual, via Zoom (RSVP to receive link - see To Register below)

    Time:
               7:45-8:00 AM, CDT - Networking
                         8:00-9:30 AM, CDT - Program

     Program Description:

Earlier this year, Robert Snyder presented to us ten different tools – templates – for teams to improve their trustworthiness. Attendees of that session expressed enough enthusiasm to take a deeper look into a select few of these tools and discuss them at length.

During this 90-minute session, we’ll explore:

     • Coachability – a significant amount of feedback is ambiguous or counterproductive. Let’s discuss a tool called the Coachability Menu that reduces unhelpful and ambiguous feedback by focusing on the behaviors within three primary communication channels – meetings, emails and documentation.

    •  Lessons Learned – most teams ask themselves two questions, i.e., “What did we do well?” and “What could we improve?” What if we used a template that asks team “lessons learned” questions about fourteen different culture traits?

… and if time permits …

    •  Time Stewardship – good managers are good stewards of their employees’ time; the ideal culture minimizes rework, noise, waiting around, and chaos; let’s look at a tool that tells the manager their performance in being good stewards of their people’s time.

His career path includes corporate roles, consulting roles, startups, PMP, and Agile certifications. He’s performed in numerous vocal, dance, and theater ensembles. Robert earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his MBA in Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

    Program Format

Presentation, large and small group interactive discussions integrated with Q&A in an informal Zoom atmosphere. We ask that all participants keep their camera on during the entire program to promote involvement and interaction.

Designed for anyone from recent graduates to mid-career professionals transitioning, this session combines academic research, hands-on practice, and actionable strategies to deliver tremendous return on investment (ROI) for personal and professional growth.

A comprehensive workbook accompanies this workshop.

    About the Instructor: Dale Lasky

After 25+ years as a business education teacher (and being named the 2009 Illinois Teacher of the Year), Dale made the leap from classroom to corporate, bringing with him a playbook built on connection, compassion, and curiosity. Think of him as a veteran coach with the heart of a teacher, someone who knows how to read a room, spark growth, and inspire action. Dale doesn’t just deliver information, he delivers transformation using “how to” secrets of positive habit formation. He’s known for creating warm, energizing learning environments where people feel safe to grow, supported to lead, and motivated to improve. His sessions are interactive, strengths-based, and sprinkled with just the right amount of humor to keep people engaged (and awake after lunch). Whether it’s a team of new hires or senior leaders, Dale adapts his style to meet people where they are and help them get where they need to go. He likes to say that he develops people, not robots.
