Join us at noon on Wednesday, May 8 to hear Lora Haines present They’re Here and They Meme Business: Leading Gen Z.

Ready or not, here they come! We’ve all heard about Millennials, but what about Gen Z who are entering offices as interns and new hires? This generation has an entirely new set of expectations and ideas to offer your organization, but don’t worry – we’re here to make sure you’re Gen Z ready.

In this engaging program, you gain the insights, skills, and tools to lead and engage this unique generation. Building on the collaborative mindset that Millennials traditionally possess, Gen Z is realistic, self-sufficient, and searching for growth opportunities. They crave recognition and rewards that are logical and useful, and they expect a culture of transparency. Gen Z is hungry to use their experiences with technology to proactively build their future, but they could use your support. Everyone will leave this course with the ability to foster grit and tenacity in this group of resourceful and rising future leaders.

Participants leave this program with the ability to:

  • Understand the workplace trends Gen Z will reject and embrace
  • Create an environment of collaboration among different populations
  • Foster intrapreneurial projects to encourage this generation
  • Communicate and deliver feedback in way that is inspiring for Gen Z
  • Coach foundational skills to support this generation’s career development

She has over fifteen years of experience in learning and development at world-class organizations like Walt Disney, and has designed and developed several of JB Training’s most popular workshops. Lora knows a thing or two about how to keep the modern workforce engaged: she focused her Master’s thesis on effectively retaining high-performing early career professionals. While flashy perks may be intriguing initially, she believes that dynamic leadership, a strong culture, and plentiful career development opportunities are necessary to retain star employees for the long haul.

Lora is a certified coach who is passionate about helping professionals reach their highest career aspirations. In addition to being a SHRM Annual Conference Top Rated Speaker, she is the VP of Community Relations for the Milwaukee ATD chapter: SEWI-ATD. When she isn’t facilitating workshops, she develops engaging curriculum and consults global organizations such as Microsoft, Eli Lilly, Subaru, Spectrum Reach, and Publicis Groupe. Outside of the training room, you can find Lora cruising around town on her bike, supporting local restaurants, and spending as much time as possible near the beach.
