Building Network Relationships – Would you like to Wake up your Network?

  • January 26, 2018
  • 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Northern Trust, 181 W. Madison-7th floor, Chicago IL

You already know you need to create and sustain a professional network because it can help you better know who you are, where you are going and how you are going to get there. Obviously knowing about networking and doing something about networking are not the same thing. Doing something about your networking will probably require you to do some new and different things. That is what we expect our clients to do, so let’s do it for ourselves.

Here are a few questions to consider:

  • What happens when you hear the word networking?
  • What thoughts come up in your mind when you think about your own network?
  • How excited and motivated are you about “waking up” your network?
  • How can a network help you accomplish your goals?

Join us when Geri Richmond will share an approach, called the Network Audit, for turning your network into a source of energy and value. Prior to the event, we ask two things of you (though you can still come if you don’t do either of the assignments):

  • Contact the Planning Committee (see below) and request the following items
  • Complete your Network Audit  and bring it with you.
  • Read Herminia Ibarra's article “How to Revive a Tired Network

Consider this event as a gift that can keep on giving to you in 2018. Our time together will be interactive and reciprocal, to help you leverage your talent and relationship building skills with your OD colleagues. After the program, you will be able to use the Network Audit with your clients, colleagues and networks.
