  • How can you ensure your training has an impact on the organization and drives a change in participants’ behavior?
  • How do you establish a line-of-sight between required competencies and on the job performance?
  • What is the secret to breaking down and structuring effective training for even the most complex jobs?

Training is meant to have an impact and change behavior.  Performance-based training ensures a line of sight between training and on-the-job performance.  Performance-based training is relevant, focuses on need to know, not nice to know; it targets the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) needed to perform the job. Today’s businesses have limited time and resources to devote to training -so it’s imperative that the training we provide makes the biggest impact it can by ensuring it focuses on performance, thereby helping the organization achieve its strategic business objectives.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:

  • How to analyze, organize and prioritize all knowledge/skill/abilities needed for on-the-job performance
  • How to identify performance objectives
  • How to assess legacy training materials to determine their fit with performance objectives
  • How to develop skill and performance check sheets

  • Job aid for completing a job task analysis
  • Job aid for assessing legacy training materials
