Then this is the workshop for you!
Join Dave Vance, Executive Director for the Center for Talent Reporting and former CLO of Caterpillar and Jeff Carpenter, CEO of Caveo Learning, for a full-day workshop on the Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRp) framework and applying it in your own organization.
TDRp was developed by a group of 30 industry thought leaders in 2010-2011 to provide standards and best practices for our profession, much like what accountants have in the Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP) and what is taught in basic business courses. TDRp provides an easy-to-use, yet robust framework applicable to all types and sizes of organizations as well as management best practices to deliver maximum value for your efforts.
David Vance is Executive Director of the nonprofit Center for Talent Reporting (home of TDRp) and co-author of the Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRp). He is the former President of Caterpillar University, which he founded in 2001, and author of The Business of Learning: How to Manage Corporate Training to Improve Your Bottom Line. Dave was named 2006 Chief Learning Officer (CLO) of the Year by Chief Learning Officer magazine. Caterpillar was ranked #1 in the 2005 ATD BEST awards and named Corporate University of the Year in 2004. Prior to leading Cat U, he was Chief Economist and Head of the Business Intelligence Group at Caterpillar. Dave teaches in the human capital development Ph.D. programs at Bellevue University and the University of Southern Mississippi. He has a Master of Science Degree in business administration from Indiana University (South Bend) and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Jeff Carpenter is CEO of Caveo Learning which was the first organization to achieve TDRp Certification for Consulting. He is a recognized leader in the learning and development space and has more than 20 years’ experience in instructional strategy, performance improvement and organizational development. Jeff has developed learning strategies and helped clients achieve performance objectives across a broad range of industries within the Fortune 1000. Prior to Sivox, Jeff held several positions in learning and development, including several years with the performance improvement organization at AT&T. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeff has taught master-level courses at Roosevelt University on adult learning theory and instructional systems design. He is also a distinguished speaker at international conferences in the learning industry.
