Discovering & Nurturing the Leader Within Us

Program Description

"Be CareerWise—A New Approach to Career Development:  Finding the Connection between Organizational & Individual Needs and Results"

What outcomes could your company, or your client’s companies, realize if talent was aligned around the organization's most critical needs and outcomes? What would happen if employees were engaged, committed and developing in ways that helped them grow personally and contribute to the company in a bigger way? The CareerWise Approach is designed to give both individuals and the organization a productivity, engagement and leadership boost aligned with results that matter.

SuccessWise Consulting has built a process of career development that is based on the belief that lasting and sustainable individual career success happens in partnership with the organization you serve. This partnership is built around an unwritten contract that BOTH individual needs and company needs must get met. As individuals, we own that and when we are able to work and develop in a way that meets both our needs and others’ needs – everybody wins.

During this program together, we will first personally experience the process by looking at our own careers and opportunities for personal and professional growth, and then we will share how one of our clients, a chemical company, incorporated the same principles into their newly designed Performance Management Program, i.e. now an Employee Growth and Development Program.

The objectives of this program are to:

  • Explore the CareerWise approach for connecting individual and organizational needs and illustrate how that leads to stronger performance, engagement and overall happiness.
  • Identify individual development options for change and growth (i.e. called the Winning Action Strategies) and how those options strengthen the individual's overall performance and career opportunities.
  • Clarify how attendees can use the CareerWise concepts and strategies within other organizations.
