Teaching in a World of Shortening Attention Spans

As Learning & Development professionals, we understand self-determination is highly important for student engagement and successful content retention, but in many cases we have to work with a captive audience with a very short attention span. How do we successfully engage these folks?

This session will investigate the merits of micro-learning as a tool to engage and inform our learners using the Pecha Kucha format as a lens to view development processes and help us cultivate skills for engaging these learners. This session will also open into a discussion of how your organization incorporates principles of micro-learning and how others might benefit from applying these methods.
